The Restaurant is Run by Two Star Michelin Chef Bart De Pooter

You will love the Mercedes House now as apart from an outstanding Braisserie it has an attractive shop and an interesting temporary exposition. It hosts classical music, jazz concerts and art exhibitions regularly. The Resto-Bar WY adds an edge to the complex. The new Restaurant is run by two star Michelin chef Bart De Pooter. The classy restaurant’s design is based on an orange and black version of the Mercedes SL 65 AMG series. The entire kitchen is made from stainless steel and at times gives the impression of being not a kitchen but a lab. But what comes out of it is not some researched invention but interesting food and entertainment.

Giant Screens in the Kitchen Display all the Activities Inside

The kitchen has a network of CCTV cameras that capture all that the chefs are doing. The back wall of the kitchen is covered by huge video screens and the guests can see all that is happening in the kitchen. The guests can see what is being cooked and the way it is being cooked. The menu comes in an iPad and there is an special app that allows the guests to share their dining experience with friends. The serving trays were also designed specially for the new restaurant. The highlight of the interior is the light sculpture made by lighting artist Matilde Alessandra. He has created three installations that playfully refer to the brand’s iconic star logo.
